Love reading some of comments when he signed in the thread.

Someone mentioned Matty Elliott style recruiting hoping for a Diamond in the rough...well we certainly got our Diamond!

So does this mean no Ricky Stuart Foundation jersey this year.
Seems so... though the Ricky Stuart Foundation was the beneficiary this year of the Hall of Fame Gala.
And also the current jerseys being Auctioned off from the Tigers Game

Re: Canberra Raiders sign Wigan Warriors half George Williams on three year deal

We can push for a premiership if GWilliams fires.. Is he the missing piece ? Is this our time ? No. We had our time. We are in a better spot then previous years but I can’t see it. The way the NRL operates we are just a small fish in a big pond. The only way I could see it is if we had Bellamy as C...

I hope Sia sticks around the club after he retires in some capacity. Maybe like a Raiders ambassador or something to like what JT does with the Cowboys.

I think we should start looking to extend some contracts that expire in 2020. Following is a list of players off contract next year and my thoughts on what we should be doing with them. JJ Collins - end 2020 WAIT AND SEE Nick Cotric - end 2020 EXTEND LONG TERM Jarrod Croker - end 2020 WAIT AND SEE ...

It’s probably cause the Coach is also off contract.

I know the Tigers are keen for Rapana but he has really out priced himself at the moment.
Maybe having Madge the current NZ Coach also comes into it and they just lost Mahe Founa so I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up there.

You know I take myself back to 2016. We were struggling a bit and Hodgson got dropped to the bench vs The Warriors and we went on this amazing run to finish 2nd. I’m not saying to drop him to the bench now but not play the full 80 at hooker. He did well playing that roving role in 2016 when Baptise ...

My only concern for this game is Kris being selected over Oldfield. Kris was good against the Bulldogs but let’s face it that was a reserve grade side.

Oldfield is a more than solid performer. Was great last year.

Flanagan to Chooks. Could have been useful It’s on a development promise that he can learn from Cronk before taking over his position. So I don’t think other clubs were really in with a shot. Mind you, Roosters will dump Flanagan the second a better half comes on the market who considers the Rooste...

Rapana is asking for a lot of coin for a winger. As much as I like him we can’t pay what he wants and with Bailey rising up the ranks it might be better to let Jordan go elsewhere.

Cue the athlete vs footballer discussion. I wonder which of our young players the chooks will now target. Forgetting about last night for a second, who would you even suggest we buy before June 30? Do you think quality halves are just sitting there waiting to be purchased.
There is a lack of quality halves in the NRL, let alone ones available to purchase.
