Re: Through green eyes 2020
Comfortably Lui's best game in green for mine. Pulled off some big hits, both of his steals came off and he didn't have any of the errors that had become common for him. Really, really good performance.

Green snags, Viking claps and a giant horn: Canberra unhinges as Raiders fever strikes For a city of 400,000 people, Canberra residents are good at turning up to things. It could be the country’s most popular flower festival, or its loudest muscle car jamboree or a game of AFL in the snow; this tow...

2 sleeps to go, everyone! Please enjoy this video I put together of our finals campaign so far. Re-watching our games to put this together I am more and more confident that we can get it done. Just have to contain the Roosters with our defence.

Practice makes perfect: How Raiders hung on with 12 men The toughest 10 minutes of Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad's career were made easier by specific sin-bin training drills that Canberra have stepped up in recent weeks to grind their way into a historic grand final. Key to the Raiders' resolve has been...

Re: 2019 Preliminary Final V Rabbitohs: Game Day
Also, that first one that went to the video ref. How was that not a penalty to us? The Bunnies player clearly was on the ground with Sezer on him and then passed the ball. That's a penalty. Because it was the last tackle, the play finished when he was held so it was a PTB instead of a penalty. Does...

Re: Canberra Raiders Team of the Decade
The only ones who can be in the worst team are those who didn’t give their all. Agree with this. Most of these guys bust themselves and sacrifice a lot more than people realise for the chance to pull on a green jumper. I think it's hugely disrespectful to bag some of these guys just because they we...

Agree, not much in that at all. The hit was late and he got binned for the lateness which is what the refs have been cracking down on. As you say, it must only barely have qualified as a shoulder charge. Shouldn't be rubbed out for that.

Geez I thought the footage was going to be a lot worse than that. Weren't two of these people hospitalized? I was imagining him running around decking blokes and stomping heads based on the NRL's reaction. Yes Jack is an immature idiot, needs to grow up fast and it deserved 10 weeks, but I feel like...

Slightly off-topic, but that comeback was honestly ruined by Matt Nable. Warren Smith or Andrew Voss calling that would give me goosebumps - Nable was silent as Tapine scored. What the hell? Please get rid of this guy. He was trash. Starting from "Jason, I mean Joe" Croker as they walked ...

Clutch kick from Martin. When was the last pressure kick Croker slotted? If you are seriously trying to pin our position in this game on Croker you are a blind idiot. Wow salty much? Re: Canberra Raiders fullback Jack Wighton pleads guilty to two charges of assault
Sack him, buy a half with the money. Seriously. This is fair. It's all or nothing - we either want him to stay in which case we minimise the time he's on the sidelines for, or we sack him outright and lobby the NRL to ban him for a while. If our cap is in dire straits as it sounds, he must be on ma...

Did anyone watch Origin? What Maloney did when Cordner went off concussed and Jimmy the Jet had Jetted off to the sin bin - that's what we all want. I'm predicting a big loss to the Tiges. After a narrow loss to the ladder leaders, the boys will cruise into this one expecting victory to fall in their laps. The Tigers can play much better than their ladder position suggests. If Bunji was playing I'd be 100% certain of this outcome. Without him I'...

Re: 2018 Rd 14 V Panthers: Game Day
IMO wet weather makes field position harder to earn (becomes a slugfest, lateral movement is more difficult) and therefore kicking is more important. I think it favours the Panthers based on that. Hope Sezer can have one of his rare good days with the boot.
