Re: Preliminary Final Tickets

It would have to be Friday. Souths/Manly is Friday, Storm/ParraBris is Saturday. NRL wouldn’t make an 8 and 6 day turnaround respectively when 7/7 is available. So why did the sharks get a 6 day turnaround when they could’ve played today? Because manly and the eels played each other last friday and...

My mate Simon, know as the Canberra drummer, finds it very hard to get the crowd going at home. But we go to away games and we get chanting the whole game. Sent from my iPhone using The Greenhouse Yup, every away game I go to the fans are loud and we outchant the home fans. At home the Canberrans a...

If rapa and bj leave our backline becomes
2 simonson
3 croker
4 cotric
5 oldy
I dont think we need to break the bank or rush to get anyone. Our packs going to require some extra funds in upgrades + cnks upgrade. I can really see wighton moving into a the cam murray lock role if sezer stays

Matterson on about $350k. He's one of the better back rowers in the comp so probably worth about $500-$600k. I imagine another team would happily take up his current deal and offer an upgrade.
Eels would be chasing him hard with mau moving on

Re: 2019 Finals Week 1 V Storm: Teams and Previews

I think the most important thing we can do is fight to play the ball. Work hard enough and let the refs call the penalties. You dont get them against melb by looking at the ref and asking for one. I say we take it one step further and completely ignore the referees altogether. They blow a penalty a...

I can understand us not getting talked up though. Our last 3 performances have not been convincing. But yes, it's not a bad thing, I really hope we do something special this week and in this finals series if we can find a new gear. I feel confident that Sutton is going to come on very nicely for us. He's 3-4 years away from his prime as a middle forward and this was a steep learning curve coming from the ESL to NRL. He makes a good point. Remember that Bateman really struggled in his first year, too. Sent from my SM-G975F usi...

What sort of cash would you need to buy a Peachy these days? Id be happier for our club to pitch in money for him to be at another club. He doesnt fit in a winning system. Hes a bloke who can rarely bring something out of nothing for a losing team. Only an option against a defence thats switched off.

Stuart has the team right again IMO. Yep, there really are a lot less "selection shocks" this year, aren't there? You can pretty much be guaranteed to pick his 17 player for player most games this season, it hasn't been the case in years gone by. Remember when Matt Allwood was suddenly our starting...
