Re: NRL announces rule changes for trainers, endorses challenge system

Here's one for you on the 20/40... 20 metre restarts.... If i were coaching, my instructions to the team and Wighton would be very simple...A lot of the time the fullback is involved in chasing those grubbers... if a grubber goes into dead and it's a 20 metre restart the instructions are for wighto...

Youre right. It is a very basic rule. It should be updated to include the best in that position. Very nrl for you to leave it how it is

Didn't the club put all the eggs in the Stuart Flanagan basket and he turned out to be an Orford tier lemon? Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk Not really. Signed as a reserve grade player and remained a reserve grade player. Admittedly the club did expect more of him. I expected more of him. He w...

Re: NRL announces rule changes for trainers, endorses challenge system

A trainer on the field should be a risk for that side, if the ball touches them, the other team would get 6 on that spot. You could at least kick at them then Agree. Unless theyre on for a player being down or as part of concussion protocol The ref should stop play for that anyway, so your point is...

interesting that a lot of you seem to think that development stops at a certain age. If no club wishes to sign a player then it is obvious that they need to continue to develop their game in order to obtain a contract. Regardless of their age. Re: NRL announces rule changes for trainers, endorses challenge system

Can’t believe they chose these rule changes over wrestling and ruck interpretations. Annesley has proven farcically hopeless in this role. The officials came up with absolutely nothing to address #SixAgain by the looks. It took the Commission to do "something". I know it won't happen this way but I...

Re: NRL announces rule changes for scrums, trainers, 20/40 kick, endorses challenge system

I think the 20/40 rule could work in our favour. Hodgo isn't too bad with kicking them. No changes to the 1:1 strip rule, which is good to see I suspect they will be quite difficult to kick. Usually if you are pinned you're coming off your line. 40/20's as they stand tend to come off the back of qu...

Pretty standard except Young, but I prefer one backrower on the bench and when he isn't been an idiot I do think he is in our best 17.

I am always confident in us. My greatest fear is how far "backwards" we went after Edrick Lee dropping that pass... it took us years to recover. I'm also not convinced by Williams. A lot of me wonders if we would have actually kept Sezer (because we made the decision in June or something) given how...

Croker is not a winger, my God. His strengths and weaknesses do not translate to being a winger in today’s NRL. Re: Curtis Scott signs with Canberra Raiders to end 2023

I'm not entirely sure any coach would stand Leilua and Scott side by side and pick Scott at centre over Leilua. Just refreshed my memory on BJ's contract, contracted to end 2020 and stated a month ago he's not going anywhere just yet - despite being given permission to look elsewhere. With that in mind, looks like BJ's 100% not going to be here in 2021, Scott will have been signed on a four-year deal as his ...

Having bj off contract at the wnd of next year really puts the pressure on him to perform. He needs to earn a new deal because he’s apparently been shopped without much interest at his price. Hes a bloke that can write his own cheque with a big season

Im not trading bj for any centre in the world. If we have signed scott for 4 years then he can start off as our 14. Because of the 4 years hes not in a position where contracts are a concern for him and we can play the long game.
