Except that they use the dogs to give them probable cause. Dogs which are famously unreliable and follow the cues of their handlers. The police see someone they want to search, the get the dog to sit down, bang probable cause. At music festivals and with dogs, yes it's more random. Although they ar...

I'm not clear what purpose the Nines is meant to achieve. Timing clashes with world club challenge and disrupts preseason preparations. The comp is a truncated format. Can't work out what benefit teams get from taking it seriously But we already have the perfect continual stream of off season conte...

500k does make him quite the expensive winger. But when you factor in that he also gives you high quality cover for centre and fullback, he does have a high value in the squad

Yeah that’s effectively a cap top up and weve got paps and wighton on the books so its a non factor here. Id imagine the interest from rivals is low given it would take too much to pry croker away from canberra where he has so much of his life settled. Its strange the club would pay anything near th...

Re: Matt Frawley elevated time Canberra Raiders top 30

Hmm not a fan of that with the Scott and Kris situations. Frawley was better off left development as there’d need to be 3 injuries to specific players for him to play. 2. And williams has been dealing with injury in the preseason. We will also be missing wighton during origin. I think a 4th half is...

The 11 year thing is for court matters that havent concluded yet so that the nrl arent seen to be determining guilt. They brought it in this rule for instances exactly like this one and it’s ridiculous todd greenburg sees a need to alter it the second a non broncos case falls short of the 11 years b...

Re: Canberra Raiders recruit Curtis Scott faces NRL stand down unless he hands over video footage

Greenberg and Scott’s lawyers are both playing hard ball. I can’t help but think that Scott’s lawyer is trying a bit of a bluff here and Greenberg is prepared to call it. If it will be defended “vigorously” by Scott’s lawyer due to his innocence’s he should have no problem showing the NRL. They leg...

Hate this new colonels challenge.
General play decisions should never be able to be challenged. They also shouldn’t be changed once made (cummins you dog).
1 challenge per half in relation to tries. Thats it. Everything else moves on with the pace of the game.

Greenberg is a dunce when it comes to these type of things. I’m disgusted at the allegations against a player in green. If found guilty, I would have no problem with the team tearing up his contract. But... The whole intention of the no fault stand down is to allow the game to avoid the embarrassme...

In an instance where there is footage available, it would be negligent of toddles to make a call either way without seeing it. Im all for scott to be stood down if they dont want to cough up the vid.
