Re: Canberra Raiders 2020 revised draw
Just noticed on the nrl app that the game against the Knights is showing Suncorp as the venue. Wasn't that meant to be at Campbelltown?

Re: Preliminary Final tickets
I wouldn't park on Dryandra St when there is a big crowd in the offing, likely to be overcrowded, crawling with parking police and too far a walk for young kids, especially during the charge of the light brigade at full time. Park at Dickson or Gungahlin and catch the bus, it might be a bit slow bu...

Re: 2019 Finals Week 1 V Storm: Game Day
Has anyone else read the story by Richard Hinds on the abc this morning? I can't stand the way this bloke writes about rugby league, even worse how he writes about the Raiders and Raiders fans. This bloke ghost wrote Billy Slaters biography, I reckon he's a bit salty about the result on the weekend...

Re: Hudson Young referred straight to judiciary
8 weeks is about 4 weeks light on IMO, but I think the fact the judiciary has been a complete farce this season in regards to eye gouges has absolutely played in Hudson’s favour Next year the NRL needs to be a lot stricter on this, for everyone involved 1000% agree The decision is defensible in con...

How so? Less side line obstructions from team staff and officials? Maybe the sun I suppose but that won't be a problem come kick off. Or at all probably, it is Melbourne.

Re: NEEDMEMBERSCODE - The finals discussion
Appears they are selling the worst seats first... and giving Storm members first dibs on their seats. The NRL isn’t doing that for us at a Canberra Stadium final. I'm pretty happy with mine, section 7 with a decent view. I'm going with a mate who's a storm fan, otherwise I'd be in with the Raiders ...

Re: Halfback
I reckon when Sezer threw the big looping ball that wound up landing behind raps, Rapana was expecting Sezer to grubber in behind Manlys rushing defense. Which would have been a far better option at that point in the game too, it would have put them in two minds about rushing up, and also, raps wou...

Re: 2018 Rd 17 V Bulldogs: Game Day
Seriously though, Austin at fullback really does solve so many problems. Especially because he won't need to defend in the line. He can chime in on either side of the field. He can normally tackle quite well one on one and it frees up bench space with papali back next week. This has to happen. Here...

I'm interested as to why the journalist felt that now was the time to write such an article? And what his interests are in Canberra or rugby league? I've never heard of the guy. Mulholland was quoted in the story so perhaps he's the one prompting this kind of attention. Not quite sure why though. I...

Re: Who would you rather Sezer or Carney?
I think he's a perfect option for the next 18 months to bridge a gap to buy a decent half. He'd be cheap, he'd be committed to going out of rugby league having left a better image than the one that has trailed him for a decade. And what better way to repay the original club that he started his drun...

Garvey needs a run or move him on Do you fail to understand the concept of depth? Just cause they don't play doesn't mean they're not valuable in the squad He is such a better option then Hingano though. So surely he would be more valuable playing. I can only assume that Stuart isn't playing Garvey...

Re: Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner calls for new Canberra Stadium
I don't know of any professional stadium in the world that has a "hill" and "grass". The idea of grass and hills signifies a local yokel competition. And unfortunately, that is the vision of many in NRL circles. I have to say that the Adelaide Oval would be exception there. That...
