Was good to see a coach back a young half and not try and shield them from the game….

Guler and Saulo would walk straight into starting prop for a lot of teams.

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
If we have to have Levi in the side then I like the idea of him being paired with Woolford. This would allow Trev to start in NSW Cup and Starling can practice his impact of the bench. Woolford off the bench in the NRL would give us a bit more creativity around the ruck. Why rely on Starling to run ...

Piastri is always giving that spot up because he's the number 2 driver in the number 2 car. Some teams like Ferrari "let em race" on occasion. McLaren don't. All their top tier work goes into giving Lando Norris the best chance this season. One of the most extreme driver 1 vs driver 2 exa...

Was not a big fan of the strategy given to Piastri. They pitted him way too early to start the race and then on his second set of tyres they pitted him way too late which was a huge factor in his wide run into the penultimate corner costing him 4 seconds. To make this worse the team also gave away o...

I don’t see where Puru’s future is. He is too small to play exclusively as 13 in the NRL. I could see him playing a 2nd hooker/lock role similar to Havali but you would have think if this was his pathway we would see him playing some 9 in Cup. Currently we have too many average hookers blocking up o...

That was a good performance against the Warriors. But they were without Egan, CNK, Dylan Walker and Niukore, all first graders. Their FB also failed his HIA. We should have beaten them. I think we would have if we had Kris, Horse, Schiller and Ata. I’m only expecting Kris and Horse to come in Compl...

That was a frustrating game. Looked like our outside backs were playing on ice.
Hoppa and Whitehead kill what little attack we have.
Have we thought about standing deeper on scrum plays?

I’ll take going into half time only down by 2.
Rapa having a tough game, he has been targeted.
Strange not having his best day but has not dropped his head.
Levi really faded towards the end of that half.

100% agree. I am ok With Whitehead starting and Hosking on the bench, as long as Whitehead is there to eat up the first 20 or so minutes of the tough stuff and then a fresh Hosking is put out there to reap the rewards. Big issue I have is Red not selected and Guler and Saulo picked over Ata and Moon...

I don’t hate the idea of Whitehead coming straight back into the starting lineup as long as he is used correctly. Whitehead to start and play around 20 before Hosking comes on and plays the remainder of the game at 12 Then Whitehead is available for injury cover to a back (whitehead to 12 Hosking to...

Some very good signs for the Raiders future in this game. Cook looks like he could do a job filling in for the Fog Chev is looking amazing, great to see that pace. Wonder how much playing the week 1 bye team in week 2 will be a factor.
Given it’s the first week I think it will benefit us especially since we have a long turn around. We should be fitter for the run and also less clunky.
Good time to play a team after a bye.

Glad Stick has given up on the Kris to fullback idea. I would have preferred Cotric over Bert but there is not much in it. Hopefully this is the firecracker that Cotric needs.
