I think Mooney needs to be starting to get the best out of him until he is more comfortable with his position in the side. I also think this would be best for the team.

Out of curiosity can Kaeo play hooker? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Someone said watching him warming up with Starling pre game as 18th man, his passing from left to right is better than Starling's. If defending and no hooker skills is what we are after from a 14 then Puru should get his shot.

Did you want Woolford to start RR?
Benefit of him playing the first 25-30 mins is it gives us one less interchange rather then DL starting and finishing.

Re: 2024 Canberra Raiders Dally M votes
Tapine not getting a point sets a new bar for Dally M voting incompetence. And that’s saying something. NRL and the broader non Daily Telegraph rugby league media need to really kick up a stink about what is meant to be our premier player of the year award. Just came on here to say the same thing. ...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Have a look at Savages stats compared to Tomoko. These 2 seem to be pushing each other.
Both had 21 runs.
Tomoko had 216m to Savages 205
Savage had 86 post contact to Tomoko’s 82
Tomoko 3 tackle breaks to Savages 2
Both zero missed tackles.

I like Badger, but she was far from blameless in that game. Missed the shoulder to Hosking's head, which ended up with Jolliffe on report. Timoko (from memory) with a perfectly good offload that was called back for him to play the ball, and the ruck was out of control in the second half. We earned ...

It’s bad enough that we have to put up with Levi. It is Al bad enough that we have to put up with Starling. But to have to put up with them both stuffing up our offence at the same time. Bit concerning these talks of resigning Crotic. We don't tend to harp on it too much here, but when you look at his situation in terms of where he was and where he currently finds himself, in what should be the absolute prime of his career..... sad. Perhaps England might be a better option for him ...

Re: 'We definitely 1 million per cent want to keep Trey': Raiders keen for Mooney to stay
The versatility of Hosking being able to play in the centres and Mariota being able to play second row gives us the opportunity to have a bench like we have this week and have 3 big guys on it. Personally with our line up this week I would like to see Mooney starting with Tapine and Papali move to t...

Well that was a disappointing game. Yep, can't watch it now knowing the result. With referees easing off on the 6again I'm seeing Storm and Roosters really pushing the boundaries in those small grey areas. Holding down in the ruck, slowing things down, stepping off the mark. Those little niggley ar...

At the end of this year it will be really interesting to see what our full strength forward pack looks like. Re: 2024 NRL Round 6: Teams and Game Day
Was it just me or was Sutton making rules up on the fly? There were two instances in the second half which left me scratching my head. Roosters won a captains challenge for a (non) knock on - which I didn't agree with, but from the scrum he called an obstruction on Smith I think it was and he was w...

I think a fair few of the Strange and Young missed tackles were from the Warriors game where they were targeted all game. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
I'd take Schuster in a heartbeat. Needs to be some tight parameters in place and the right price but his upside is greater than any other second rower available and probably most in the competition. His ball playing and skill is off the charts. I'd be pretty confident that guys like Papalii and Tap...

I am not sure if that many more, who have not already played, will be given an opportunity from the Cup side. Obviou...

There is a lot of excitement about this team. It's good to see. Credit to Stuart, Mulholland and Carbone for developing a recruitment plan and sticking to it. Got to feel a bit sorry for Weeks. Now Chev gets a crack at fullback and he is still...

What happens with a player like Cook if we did sign Sanders?
If he wanted to play in the halves would he have to go back to Canberra Cup?

I would like to see Schiller tapped on the shoulder and be told it’s his spot for the next 5-10 games. Hoppa was given the same opportunity last year and could not nail it down. As others have said it’s easier to fix Schillers defence, contact and decision making than it is making Hoppa 5kmph faster...
