Re: Canberra Raiders sign young English forward Harry Rushton

I’ve got to say, I’m already really impressed with Harry. He might be a fearless young bloke, but it is a courageous thing for a young guy to do... cross the world in a pandemic, leave his family behind when he’s not even 20, spend two weeks in a hotel room by himself... and then try and forge a fo...

Re: 2020 in review - Corey Harawira-Naera

Yeo's development seemed to be constantly halted because he was knocked out every second game. He's one of those mobile forwards just like Young, that really benefited from the faster play this year. Yup. Faster game, means you need at least 1 middle to have fast footwork, leg speed and a high motor.

Re: 2020 in review - Corey Harawira-Naera

Edge or middle, i still think Yeo low key is kind of average I wouldnt trade any of our young middles for him straight up. None. He's a JAG in a very good team. Guler, Hors, Young... Nope. Ill take my chances with those guys over Yeo. I agree, but the point was, 2020's move to lock, from the edge, ...

Re: 2020 in review - Corey Harawira-Naera

Q. How many people thought Yeo was an avg edge player with decent defensive reads and versatility? My guess, most. Cleary moves him to lock, all of a sudden he is a top 4-6 lock in the comp. Same goes for Young. He is ok on the edge, defends well, but doesn't really add anything in attack. He moves ...

Looks like Burrow's knee injury is pretty bad. ACL, MCL and other structural damage. Could be a 12.month recovery. Worst nightmare for Zac Taylor with Ryan Finley as the replacement. He'll be straight on the market for a veteran backup. Bet he wishes he kept Dalton on the roster now. It looked bad ...

As GE outlined, Tapine had probably 3 or even 4 parts to his season, and his application, ability and performance varied in those periods. Those periods were preseason/ 1st 2 Rds, part 2 was Rds 3-6, 3 was 7-10, then Rd11 onwards. Preseason/ 1st 2 Rds: To start the yr, he said he wanted to lock down...

Nobody is winning the east. When Goodell calls for the East's nominated team one of the poor bastards is not going to step back quick enough. His last month or so wasn't very good. Its like he used up what was left in him playing half-back for George. He is otherwise 'Mr Consistent' though. Gets through so much dirty and unseen work. I think im happy with the 8, but that last month makes me wonder if its a 7.5.

Im surprised he didnt lose pts for his suspension GE. Or did that all go to his 2019 score? When he was playing on the edge, he was OK. There was a knee issue that might explain that though. He was much better once he moved to the middle. Fast feet, and a high workrate is golden in the modern middle...
