Re: Matt Frawley elevated to Canberra Raiders top 30

Ill take Frawley as our 4th choice half. In fact, id almost bet that as far as 4th sting NRL halves go, he would be in the top few.

Josh Norman released by Skins.
What a fall from grace. Gone from best CB in the league, to released by cellar dweller.

That said, I'd take him at Cows for the right price

Re: The Cricket Thread

I'm liking the Lara love. Always rated him a notch higher than Tendulkar, Kallis and Ponting who all tend to be grouped together. All have similar averages in international cricket but Lara played 70% or more of his test career in some pretty ordinary batting lineups. He only just crossed over care...

Batsman, part time spinner. It's a like for like replacement. Short was on the recent Indian tour so was already ahead of Stoinis in that respect. Yeah ok. This is pure guess work... The media saying it is "over" $3 million... wouldn't surprise if something like the original figure was stuck with for 2021 and it is something like $850,000 in subsequent years. They're still talking about a figure close to $1 million with NSW and Kangaroos payments. The...

Shiv certainly got better with age, and a crazy batting stance. However, his best yrs were probably post Lara.
