Re: Corey Harawira-Naera states more to come from his end

Seems to me like Ricky’s never been too keen on CHN, it’s clearly evident in the way he uses (or underuses him). This looks to me like the coach is trying to shuffle him out of the club and into medical retirement, yet the player doesn’t want to go yet. Classic Raiders debarkle. Also quietly remind...

Raiders player signing speculation 2023

Reports are emerging that Dolphins are expected to anounce the signing of Junior Tupou this week. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023

The dogs recruitment is puzzling to say the least. Watching them last year (and I will admit I didn’t tune into a heap of games) it seemed pretty obvious that they struggled with their middle forwards. This was exacerbated by injuries to Thompson and Sutton. At the end of 2023 they have lost Thompso...

Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 2: Teams and Game Day

I think the Raiders would have put up a much better challenge against the Warriors. Both the Warriors and Knights hate the grind. Did you watch the game? The Warriors kicked to Marzhew’s corner and trapped him in the dead zone over and over again. They completed their sets and applied pressure forc...

Re: Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?

Big difference between Savage and Walsh is that Walsh played all his juniors as a fullback. Savage played as a centre of Winger and judging by the NSW cup selections this year the Raiders have moved on from him as a fullback. So it is probably unfair to compare the two. Re: 2023 State of Origin III - Blues v Maroons

Just on Liam Martin, The general consensus to save an interchange you will often start a back rower and at some point move him to the middle. In general this is to take advantage of leg speed later in the halves. Fitler though has done the reverse of this by bringing Martin on in the middle and shif...

Re: 2023 State of Origin III - Blues v Maroons

In the context of a heavy series defeat and so many failures already that’s the worst team I’ve seen selected for NSW. Recalling Walker at 33 in a dead rubber whilst overlooking Nicho Hynes is absolutely crazy. Cody is a great player in great form but that selection looks to lock in a 34 year old O...

Is Jaydn Su'a also leaving the dragons? Maybe have a crack. He was in Canberra as a junior. Sua was a Broncos junior. You wouldn’t want to invest a lot in him. At his best a great signing but he is so inconsistent and the difference between his best and worse games is far to much for my liking. Sen...

17 for QLD is also contracted to the Raiders. For those interested is a lock forward smaller body with decent leg speed and a high work rate.

Schuster to Tigers and Brookes to Manly is a great win for Raiders fans. Neither of them are the answer but I could see us offering either a 4 year $4.4mil contract.

Yep lacking a moral compass and I hope it all goes pear shaped for him. I also am thinking I am comfortable with him not playing in our firsts squad barring injury. Bennet clearly got that group of forwards in to set the standards and culture of the club going forward. You may not get the best years out of them on the park but hopefully they can teach the younger generation coming through with the Dolphins.

Just because you haven’t heard of Robati and Hethrington doesn’t mean you can dismiss the effect their losses have on the team. The Cobbo situation reminds me of how we treated Dugan. Basically gave him a free pass to do as he liked, the problem is people like that never repay you. This will end in tears. Ah, the GH numpty brigade? We generally looked 20% better with him on the field. Just needs to improve his fitness and game time. I'm not sure they're numpties, I think they just want a flat out star at hooker like Cook, Api or Hodgo was. I think you need some value in your spine somewhere. In the ...

It needs to be sorted in house but I would love to know how the club handles it.

Weak squad that will avoid the spoon on the Bennett factor. Overall I would give them at least 5 skins matching up against our team. Hammer over Savage. Very much a spare parts team. Jazz Tevaga at prop reminds of of when Josh Miller played there towards the end of his career with the Dragons and I genuinely feared for his safety.
