Re: Canberra Raiders 2010s Team of the Decade

There has been a change in methodology looking at the 2000s team. Wiki only played 11 games at prop for us in the 2000s by my count, he wouldn't have been eligible for that spot under the stricter 2010s rules.

Re: POLL: Canberra Raiders 2010s Team of the Decade: Fullback

You can’t pick Wighton for five eighth or CNK for fullback in team of the decade after each playing one season there! That’s just absolute ludicrousness You’ve outlined exactly why you can! The 5/8th spot has been basically an out and out disaster all decade. It’s picking between the the best of 3 ...

Re: POLL: Canberra Raiders 2010s Team of the Decade: Fullback

Dugan and Milford are overrated. Had their moments but didn't offer any consistency. Wighton was great as a last line of defence and his attack was pretty good. Terrible at positioning for kick reception though. Cnk had a year of being the complete fullback other than his passing game. I'd say his o...

I'm not a fan of the 20/40 at all. The defensive team has put in a great kick and defended really well for 5 tackles only to have that entire effort taken away by 1 play.
Yup - that's a disgusting rule.

Solid on both sides of the ball which is pretty rare for a centre these days. If he improves as he should I can see him having a long NRL career.

Good point about the Rapana money. Scott is a hell of a depth player, especially on the sort of money he was on at the Storm (reportedly $500k per season). That's a lot of cash tied up in our centres. We'd be crazy to let Leilua go if we can afford to keep him. I'm just interested in what the plan ...

I think Scott is using the money we would have had set aside for half a year of Rapana. We'd be mad to let Leilua go IMO, we already look a little low on strike in the outside backs.

I think we have a Premiership window. If we let Wighton walk over the matter of 200k we put that window on hold, and we probably end up spending more or gamble (ala Orford) trying to replace him.

The team isn't getting any younger so he's a must keep.

I like the cut of your gib. Each player in the winning squad takes 1.768 points back for their team to start each match with, this aggregates for teams with multiple players. Any players that win the the 9s and NRL in the same series are automatic Kangaroos. MotM in the Nines final is given the Anth...

Winner of the 9s plays winner of the 13s in the Super Grand Final 11 a side and bonus zone tries are worth 4.5? That's stupid. 9s team plays with 9, 13 plays with 13. 9s get bonus tries and have to drop-kick their conversions, 13s don't. The off-season is obviously treating you well Nick. I got qui...

Grand plan

- Winner of 9s is granted 10 premiership points
- Commence the great race for the 9s leader in Round 1

Get on it Toddy G.
