Re: Jack Wighton turns down Raiders option to go on open market for 2021

Keary is also playing in one of the glamour clubs, and probably knows he can leave for more coin, at the expense of premierships and success. I would say he’s a $1m player, cashing in $300k to be in a successful side He signed that deal a few years ago, no? Before he took a leap into being one of t...

Fact is, it didn't take Bateman or Wighton long to stick their hand out publicly for more money for actually DOING WHAT THEY ARE PAID FOR. And I think it's piss poor form from both of them.

Re: Jack Wighton turns down Raiders option to go on open market for 2021

I've always been a big fan of Wighton but I can't see any club paying him $1mil/year tbh... it would only be plausible for a club breaking the salary cap to do so. The only club stupid enough to fork out anything close to that mark is the Titans imo. If the $750k figure for his option which he turn...

Raiders travelling pretty well for the team with the worst spine in the competition Yeah, happy days, pretty sure our spine had a pretty good year when sezer had a go, the rest are top notch players too. He is good for about 15% of the time he's played with us. Ok defence. Played well when he was g...

Re: Try assists and linebreak assists

Should we win on Sunday, would Sezer be the lowest rated Halfback to lift the trophy since Shane Perry? Nope. Sezer has been good since he came in for wighton with Williams, he played a role, and has got back to what he needs to do, good on him. I'd still prefer sezer than Townsend Sent from my SM-...

Re: Try assists and linebreak assists

We've been a top 3 attacking team for the past 3 seasons, and I believe we came in 4th this year. Through all that, our halves have never been particularly influential regarding try and line break assists. In fact, I'd argue that other than Hodgson, Wighton playing second receiver from fullback was...

Re: 2019 Grand Final V Roosters: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*

I've no idea how this game will pan out, but the virus thing is a worry. The Roosters are quite beatable, but you have to hold them out for the first 20 minutes. IMO that's the key for us. With that in mind I would start Papa off the bench and hope Tapine and Soliola can do the job with Lui. We jus...

The fact that we he only been beaten by more than 6 points this year gives me great hope in this game..The biggest worry for mine lies in the battle of the halves. Re: 2019 Grand Final V Roosters: Teams and Previews

Given recent events my bench is: 14. Simonsson 15. Havili 16. Horsburgh 17. Lui This covers for every potential scenario. Havili runs just as hard as a prop and can play in the middle. Papa will be playing big minutes again and Tapine can extend too. We only need two genuine props on the bench. Gul...

Hodgo will be playing, no doubt about it. Be interesting to see if Havili is on the bench though, just between you and me smashed hat, he has a Steve Jackson try in him the way he bounces off tacklers. I'd actually have Havili in front of Lui now. Havili can easily play a middle forward role if Hod...
