Alright we can put that one to bed. Straight from the horses mouth, not happening. That's a shame, thanks mate. No worries SB. Nothing worse than getting your hopes up on these signing speculations that don't eventuate. You'd think as Raiders fans we'd be used to it! Real shame though as he's absol...

Boo f***ing HOO. I've read comments for years about how Newcastle was a s**t place, full of bogans, and allround an awful place. Sucks when the shoe is on the other foot. Was? Kent's is an interesting article. I especially like talk of a "line in the sand moment" for the NRL, but I won't hold my breath. His suggestions for tougher penalties for the player managers and players that willingly participate are a no brainer. If Ayoub is found to have something dodgy...

Nice signing, the broncos are one of the better defensive sides(ranked 7th now but I'm sure they were ranked a lot better than that for the most part of this season) let's hope we still get griffin as defense coach as well as Crawley and then we can punt pay. Re: Is it time for the NRL to intervene at the Canberra Raid

You can't overhaul the roster when nobody wants to come here. Well we might be **** then because nothing is going to change under the current setup. The current SLG oversaw the sacking of the last coach (rightfully so IMO) but have failed to back it up with any real effort ever since, even under a ...

The knee jerk hiring of David Furner after Henry left really was a poor decision This. Apart from the roster we were left with, the culture that was allowed to fester over the last 5 years is the main reason we are where we are today. For Mr Smith, it is critical to the NRL’s future that financial success is shared as equally as possible among the 16 clubs to ensure the on-field competition remains strong. If he is genuinely serious about this, the first order of business should be to end News Corps involvement with the Broncos ...

I'm just glad that the intensive reform program Todd went through at the Chooks was so successful and helped him to become the man he is today.

I hope the NRL take note and agree that it would be the best place for Blake Furgeson to get his life back on track as well.

No one cares were they train, as long as on game day they win. Do the local school thing during the week with locally grown talent and franchise player. The NRL pretty much goes for 44 weeks of the year including preseason, the super rugby comp is almost already over going into the internationals. ...

QLD too sloppy to ever win that. NSW dug deeper and deserved the win.

Having said that I'm sick to **** death of watching teams (both sides and NRL games) just laying in the ruck as soon as they're in the their red zone.

It's making this game **** painful to watch.

Smith was ok. Comparable to Nigel Plum or Josh Miller Disagree Dubby. Plum was an absolute juggernaut in defence and was just wasted in the 2nd row, has absolutely killed it since slotting in to prop at the Panthers. As much as I rate Mataora I’m not that disappointed he won’t be back this year.

I think he has struggled playing in the front row and will come back a much better player after a lay off and the Pre-Season.
