Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

I prefer rugby league over wrestling. The issue is, the athletes can't keep up. The officiating is producing waves of momentum and the balance has shifted far too much in favour of attack. It can't last like it is. People are going to switch off, because watching blow out after blow out isn't enter...

I prefer rugby league than watching players walk to a scrum that we all know the result of before it has happened.
Correction: walk to the scrum and then 26 players stand around watching the 'shot' clock wind down.

I think it's fairly clear and unanimous, that if you prefer wrestling over attacking football you are a terrible person.

Geez I hate it when an attacking player is tackled and a teammate of the attacking player just starts dragging a tackler off. It should be an instant penalty but I see it far too often these days.

Why is it stupid? Anyway it was just an idea, I briefly considered whether it was a stupid idea.. Clearly not long enough. It is clear that you are simply trolling. The NFL teams you refer to are just across State borders. What you're suggesting is akin to saying... let's put the base of New York t...

Media goes on a mission to find drama when one thing comes out.. Was saying to a mate after the first story that the media would hunt down anything they could make out as drama and sure enough that's what has happened Then if things do turn around it's a big redemption story.. Same old pattern I'm ...

Another damaging attack on the players right here from PJ.

I think the players look at the pretty pictures on social media and the wives do the reading; sounds a bit like my situation TBH.

None of what limited success we've had over this period would have occurred if we didnt have Josh Hodgson. I would hate to see him play for another club. I'd like to think that Hodgson and Ricky can talk this out over a few beers. Offer him a pathway into coaching through our club. It's very hard t...

I just think he should stick solid, like rayden said. So no bleeding green as well? Just stick solid? I think the players are still bleeding green, they’re just struggling to stick solid at present. I may be reading it wrong, but that’s just my personal opinion. How long are you going to do this?

The more I think about it, we are already smack bang in the middle of a rebuild... not next year. You've got guys coming to the end of their careers - Hodgson, Croker, Lui, Sia and you've got guys ready to step up into their positions - Starling, Kris, Guler, Horsburgh, Hudson Young. Those young guy...

The main take away is that clearly the players are as confused about **** Ricky is doing with his bench as we are. Whenever Ricky has tried in the past to be a mastermind thinking 5 months ahead and cutting trials or easing into pre-season it's gone pear shaped. I think Ricky had 3 months in the of...

Bailey hasn't played 50 games yet. Our centres and wingers rarely get any quality ball. Tough crowd pinning those defensive reads purely on him when on several occasions it was 5 or 6 on 3. I thought it was one of his better games on Thursday.

I thought there was a bit of game management to even the game up last night. When AJ was sinbinned it looked like the Titans were arguing that Gamble (I think it was) was offside and they wanted to challenge the call, but were denied the opportunity. And on first view he did look offside, but I have...
