Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Schuster could be a gun. But is probably in the same basket as Latrell. If they had their head on right, quality players. We’ve seen obviously with Latrell. Schuster could be a great player. It’s worth a chat especially that Manly could be forking most of his salary. Stupid not too. Imagine picking...

I reckon the knights must have offered him more money (the crap about being promised a centre position was thrown around when Cotric signed with the dogs too but we all know that move was motivated by the crazy $$$ he...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
The problem with games that end in golden point is that the decisions in the last minutes of the game are overly scrutinised compared to every other decision in the game. The Titans gave away 3 set restarts in quick succession and easily could have had a player in the bin but that didn't happen. If...

Too right Micky. I can see the headline now in 2028. “ACT Government announces exciting new feasibility study into future Canberra stadium and plans for the Tuggeranong ice rink continue to progress”. And tram extension to Weston Creek, worth 5 trillion dollars. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Annesley making a huge deal about a player just one metre offside in Golden Point isn’t good for his inexperienced female referee and also for all the referees who’ve let go much worse decisions go across the history of Golden Point games. Why single out her decision in such detail, choosing the ex...

I don't think I've ever noticed as much criticism of a referee as she is copping, and **** me Klein, Sutton/s, Cummins over the years and Gough have been deplorable on many occasions. She was alright. If she blows 30 penalties to 10 (for Titans) she's not getting another game anytimesoon. But her ga...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Raiders gunna get smashed by the refs moving forward, based on Annesley's presser. Ricky was right and the stats show it, but Annesley seems more focused on the assumption Canberra should have been pinged on a few occasions and were offside on the charge down, rather than the fact the Titans got aw...

Lots of unwarranted negativity about our play IMO. I thought Stewart was good. He was sniffing around the ruck early. The coach kept his role simple. I thought he was good under the high ball until late in the game and his kick returns were aggressive. He is also well positioned in defence. The per...

Shame that Tanah Boyd isn't playing. He has been very ordinary this season. Brimson is much more dangerous in the halves for them.

The stadium itself will yield an economic loss, irrespective of its location. My position on this is pretty clear. I haven't seen a single objective study that articulates the real economic advantages of building a stadium in the city centre over one in Bruce - only people's personal opinions. I've...

The referees have been expanding six agains in quite a few games. I think both you and Gerg have a point. Some refs are certainly blowing the 6 agains (especially a cluster of two or 3 within a couple of tackles), but I too have noticed some smart teams really pushing the boundaries in the tackle a...

I'd take Schuster in a heartbeat. Needs to be some tight parameters in place and the right price but his upside is greater than any other second rower available and probably most in the competition. I think the "GOAT debate" (Johns, JT, Locky, Stuart,Smith, etc.) Need its own thread... Cronk was better than JT. JTs career was over rated. Great player yes but not deserving to be on this list. This is crazy talk. Yeah I think JT is better in just about every sense or facet. More creati...

I only watched the game last night. Nice to see some long range tries and the team go on with it. Plenty to like but Eels were dreadful. That's the worst I've seen them play for quite a few years. They didn't get off the bus. Makes me nervous for this weekend. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
