Re: Eels half Ethan Sanders agrees to terms with Raiders for three year deal from 2025

This whole argument of not being able to buy superstars as an excuse for quite frankly, **** ordinary coaching, is a bit ridiculous to me. In the last 25 years of the NRL era, the best coach I’ve seen has been Craig Bellamy, hands down. The best team I’ve seen in the last 25 years, again, hands dow...

Re: Eels half Ethan Sanders agrees to terms with Raiders for three year deal from 2025

A great signing for the future. Certainly buys another five years for the coach. And it shows in his laidback approach this year. The last two seasons he has looked like a coach under pressure. Particularly 2022 where he looked a dead man walking until Savage and Woolford came into the side and save...

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Teams and Previews

You cannot have so many young spine players (in the halves and fullback) playing behind a beaten pack. It's too much pressure and unfair on them. Woolford provides the best service from dummy half and there's really no debate on that. Right now I don't care about those other areas of the 'hooker' de...

Re: 2024 Round 7 v Broncos: Game Day

Okay, that was disappointing. A few clangers to put the game out of reach, but for me it was obvious from the first quarter of the game that we lost the ruck, the wrestle and forward battle. And comparing the packs that shouldn't be happening. Woolford must be given a go. Starling offers nothing. Le...

Hard to read too much into that. Watching the highlights, Parramatta looked gassed by half time. Re: 2024 NRL Round 7: Teams and Game Day

Man, Sutton has totally screwed up this game with his inconsistent refereeing of the ruck. First 20 minutes Warriors have all the ball and ruck is extremely slow. Then Saints get a bit of possession and all of a sudden he wants a quicker game. Three legup penalties in a row to Saints and 6agains thr...

Good news. I'd be as shattered if he left for one final big pay day as when Wiki left. He deserves to be our highest capped player. Playing rep footy since 19 y/o, an absolute monster on the edge, then converting to arguably the most consistent prop in the game over the last 5ish years. One of our g...

Went and saw Dune 2 today. Great cinema experience. A really well made film. My only criticism was the finale seemed rushed in comparison to the pacing in the rest of both films. Schuster could be a gun. But is probably in the same basket as Latrell. If they had their head on right, quality players. We’ve seen obviously with Latrell. Schuster could be a great player. The problem with games that end in golden point is that the decisions in the last minutes of the game are overly scrutinised compared to every other decision in the game. The Titans gave away 3 set restarts in quick succession and easily could have had a player in the bin but that didn't happen. If...

Raiders gunna get smashed by the refs moving forward, based on Annesley's presser. The referees have been expanding six agains in quite a few games. I think both you and Gerg have a point.
