Re: Ricky Stuart says he'll fight proposal to strip competition points from opening rounds

'97 ARL Grand Final is remembered for the quality of the game, not so much as being the "true" champions or any of that malarkey... But it was a poor game. It just had a good finish. But Manly lost! The modern day equivalent was the Cowboys beating the Broncos. Neither game was a classic but great ...

Re: The most underrated Raiders of all time

Geoff Toovey just named Michael Robertson on the wing in his all time best Manly side. Christ, was he that good or has Toovey probably taken one too many blows to the head? Must have been a Tooves favourite. When I think of Manly wingers dating as far back as I've been following Rugbrugh Le...

Re: Ricky Stuart says he'll fight proposal to strip competition points from opening rounds

You can’t have a 7 round season. **** Origin off for a year and make it te 2 games already plus another 10+ imo They're not going to get rid of Origin, it makes them way too much money. Sent from my SM-N976B using Tapatalk then play them mid week and let the players back up playing 3 games in 6/7 d...

Re: Ricky Stuart says he'll fight proposal to strip competition points from opening rounds

So NRL says they can reverse correctly awarded points for the season so far, but They can’t reverse a wrong decision to rescind a six again call in a grand final. This really is an ineptly run sport. A great game ruined by mediocre management. This decision is the exact opposite of what V’landys sa...

Re: Coronavirus

Not only that, but I'm quite sure this social distancing policy combined with closing down the pubs and clubs is likely to have reduced the normal volume of people who present at emergency departments who ultimately end up in intensive care - but that's just me guessing. So how does this work again? You just pop into the Surveymonkey link, and vote for who you think is the better band/artist in the match up. I've decided this year we will do it FA Cup style, so each round will be a random draw, rather than a set tournament style set up So who do I like best or who ...

Just binged Tiger King the last two days. It was a good documentary about some predatory scum of the earth. Just feel for the animals in captivity in the show. I watched the first episode last night. Re: Mal Meninga’s all-time Canberra Raiders side: Shock captaincy call as old secret revealed

I would rather have Wiki and Meninga in the centres with Jackson missing out, unfortunately. Papalii slightly ahead of Pongia and Brent Todd only just behind him. You could possibly have Mullins on the bench because of his versatility and Chicka on the wing. From a club point of view, rather than ba...

I've always found it extremely difficult to get a decent gauge on NRL Administrators because of the exceedingly petty agendas the stakeholders in the game have. I think RHCP deserve a nomination. Very much out of favour these days but at one stage they were the biggest band in the world. Re: NRL burns nearly 500k per day, fails to pay into the NRL Players Retirement fund

GE says the NRL don’t watch what the AFL has been doing. What is becoming abundantly clear is the NRL are like that neighbour that has to keep up and potentially beat the Joneses. But what they don’t realise is they earn a much smaller income than the Joneses. That is not to say there aren’t many, ...

I would have loved to see Ryan James at his best, rip into SOO. You just know he would have gone a bit mental in that arena. Of the current batch, Staggs is ready. Yes this 'non-game' is one that hurts a little to miss. We've beaten this Dragons team in so many different ways it isn't funny, but really it is. No matter how many times I see it that Steve Jackson try sends tingles up my spine.
