It's a shame Kyrgios doesn't have the ticker of a de Minaur or, hell I'd settle for even a Philippoussis. He'd be in the top 10. I watched Kyrgios the other night and I could have sworn he was drunk or something. Absolutely didn't give a ****. Behind the back or through the legs, meh ... who cares ...

Surely there'll be at least 2 testimonial matches for him vs Cam with all proceeds going to the 2 players. It's only fair that 2 of the main players in the largest salary cap cheating incident in the NRL are rewarded for remaining in the NRL after the poor sods had to take a pay cut. Sent from my SM...

Poor Lleyton copping it at the moment. He ju st wants some of these young guys to be better tennis players and role models for Australian kids. As far as the actual tennis a few of these younger guys have played well. I'm not sure they have the talent or game to really challenge the best but it's go...

Re: What's your strongest possible Canberra Raiders 2019 line up?

I'd keep Horsburgh easily over Murchie and without much hesitation over Guler, although with our current prop situation he would be a big loss. I think the question should be what would we be willing to lose out of Horsburgh or another few years of mediocre players with no upside like Luke Bateman ...

So which one, or even worse case scenario two, are we willing to lose out of Murchie and Horsburgh? We have those two plus Tapine, Whitehead and Bateman and 5 quality back-rowers for 3 places doesn't work.

Re: Edwards-Raiders rumour a dud

The club is chasing him. That means we must have an offer in the general ballpark of what he’s worth. Possibly with the hope that a starting fullback spot here over a wing or ressies spot there will be the difference. I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t come off though. But the Panthers have no r...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019

It is pretty clear from Craig's tweet he, at least, is talking about Edwards. I suspect the issue is whether the Panthers want him at No. 1 rather than Dallin Watene Zelezniak and whether they need to free up salary cap space... and whether they've come to grips with that yet. Hopefully Cleary want...

Didn't Tilse try and charge down a field goal and it bounced off his arms and went over. Re: John Bateman signs with Canberra Raiders

There is a reason he is considered a backrower/ centre. Which in the NRL leads me to believe that he is more likely to be successful on the edge. Maybe he is a dogged tough nut that will make it work. However, as we already know, we have 4 international backrowers, and while is generally accepted t...
