Re: Jack Wighton confirms switch to five eighth

Jack was always going to do a good job. The real question was his replacement at fullback. CNK did a really great job in his rookie gig in that position. Melbourne's kicking game will be the massive test for him though. I don't think it was good enough to let the ball bounce from those high kicks. ...

That'll do me..
Have a go at their NSW Cup side. They deadset have no one else.
They must have about 6 players taking the majority of the salary cap and the rest are playing for a pie and a coke each week.

Re: Matt's Match-ups 2019

Kaufusi had big numbers in Round 1. Bigger than I expected when doing my own preview. Big numbers as in work rate? I just don't think he offers the impact of Tapine or the ball skills of Whitehead. I think those two attributes are more important than work rate for an edge forward, however Whitehead...

If your captain scores a try is it worth 8 points or just 4?

Re: Matt's Match-ups 2019

Out of the four centres playing I would almost always pick BJ first over the other three. He has the X factor that every side wants on an edge. When he scored the try I don't blame him for not using his winger as he should back himself, particularly in those conditions where we saw pushing the pass ...

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Teams and Previews

Storm were arguably the best side in round one but I think we match up quite well with them. You just know that Hodgson will be all over Smith and so long as we contain Munster who I think can drift in and out of games a little I think we're a real chance.

You see one good party and one bad party and I see two parties both manipulating the situation to a perceived advantage. I think it's ugly; I'm sure you'll justify it to yourself. Ok. So you let us know when we ca...

I've been unlucky enough to be stuck on the lounge in front of the tv over the past six weeks and battling with insomnia and one of the few things to put me to sleep is the 24/7 ABC news and their regular cuts to Morrison's speeches on the medevac bill/debate and question time. Pretty big difference in Yeo not being able to stand after it. I didn't think they took 'the severity of the injury' into account when punishing players for offences? Re: 2019 Rd 1 V Titans: Game Day

The most pleasing aspect for me was the battle of the forwards, that is by far the best attribute of that titans side and we owned them with much lighter players. Good times. Came in to say this exact thing. The conditions weren't great but it turned it into a forward slog which was a great test of...

I'm sure it was well and truly covered earlier but what's doin with that forward pass call for the Croker tip on in the first half, when Cotric went over. You see half a dozen worse dummy half passes than that each game.

Ed, probably more a crack at anybody who dared to suggest that they reserve their judgement of Robinson until he isn't coaching the side - with the top 3 roster every single year.
