Re: The Cricket Thread
How Starc bats above Capt Pat is criminal. Agree. Cummins temperament with the bat is honestly world class. Defends reasonably well. Keeps the scoreboard ticking over. When the chips are down, he looks every bit like an all-rounder - despite only averaging 16 ! Big shout out to him for getting us h...

Seems many people are landing around the 8-12 weeks mark for Spencer Leniu, in terms of a suspension.
I think that’s pretty fair.

Could somebody post the team please or do I have to go to the NRL website? I’m sure the system was explained last year. But for those who don’t know… The Greenhouse account makes a post in the hour before the Raiders team and the opposition team is announced. This ensures people reading the thread ...

Re: 2024 NRL Round 1: Teams and Game Day
I actually worked with a lady of African heritage, who called many other people in the office a “monkey”. And she did so regularly.
Obviously no one returned the favour, as they would’ve been immediately sacked.
I wonder what penalty Spencer will cop?

Some partnership this one!
Green has always had the talent, just needed time.
Nice to see him do this off the back of a Shield century too.

Population? Google says 350k for the central coast.
As opposed to 263k for the Northern Beaches and 231k for the Sutherland Shire.
As for 200k Bears members. Is that inclusive of the deceased?

Buzz asking PVL if the Bears are coming back… he dances around it and says they have to be in the equation, whether it’s Perth or The Pacific etc. Why was the Central Coast dumped from calculations? I’m an Australian, but have never supported the Australian cricket team. How can you barrack for a side playing a WI or ZIM and winning by an innings and 250 runs? It’s just not fun. I don’t understand. It’s not the AUS cricket teams fault that the minnows of world cricket suck. Well partly it is b...

Re: Wests Tigers 2023
They have a choice really - pay overs or don’t recruit world class players. It’s that simple really. The club are in a dire position and have to offset that by opening the wallet, in a big way.
I can’t fault them for having a crack here. Luai has the last 3 premierships under his belt.

6. Luai
7. Sezer
9. Api
