Re: 2019 State of Origin I: Queensland V New South Wales

Every single club game during the Anzac weekend has it. I get it, it’s meant as a celebration/acknowledgement of the country and sacrifices, but people are there to watch footy. It’s club vs club, not Australia vs another country. The “Last Post” is all that’s called for. I honestly reckon it’s beca...

Re: 2019 State of Origin I: Queensland V New South Wales

Nathan Merritt ? Geez i hope you're joking. He was so obviously unsuited to perform at Origin level, was rightly overlooked for years until he was finally given a shot due to media pressure and absolutely stunk the place up (as everyone with a clue knew he would). And then rightly never played again...

I’m with Botman. I’m on board the Wighton train.

Clive Churchill medal, first grand final in 25 years and 3 SOO games (all be it in another position). Wighton’s the man.

Re: NRL announces rule changes for trainers, endorses challenge system

The 20/40 rule is a joke but when you think about it, how often do teams get pinned inside their 20 on the 5th tackle? The defensive team is better off letting them roll out past the 20 meter line to negate the possibility of a 20/40. It’s a dumb rule...the NRL is practically endorsing all football...

I'm not a fan of the 20/40 at all. The defensive team has put in a great kick and defended really well for 5 tackles only to have that entire effort taken away by 1 play.
This.

How completely ridiculous.

And where are the rule changes impacting wrestling?

Dugan’s first couple of years, where he had no regard for his body (now it’s the complete opposite) he was unbelievable. E.g. that time he stopped Dave Taylor and almost suicided.

Wighton’s not far off.

Milford’s further away.

Definitely want Papa and Sia starting. It’s no secret our emerging or fringe forwards like Dunamis Lui play a thousand times better when the platform is laid by the 2 experienced machine props.

I can agree with points for both sides of the coin, but given it was against a Pakistan team that was always going to lose (and even if we drew, no one would've truly cared) - another hour would've been a nice reward for the hard work Warner put in.

Looking at the competition is very important... Roosters and Storm are weakened. Manly, if they can sort out their hooking issues are a big threat next year for mine. They don't need a huge improvement to compete for the comp with TTurbo back. But again, I go back to their hooking problems with Fain...

If Inzy was still captain, he’d not only rip them off the field but they’d be on the next flight back to Pakistan.

Only saving grace is Uzzi isn’t in this side, otherwise he’d score a backyard ton and lock himself in for the next 3 series minimum.

I just witnessed some of the worst fielding I’ve ever seen, since a teammate back in U10’s copped a sky ball to the Adam’s apple and we had to call an ambulance.
