I'll give all three suggestions a go. Will probably send them off as well, need lots of ammo against the blackness. I'm also leaning towards the white shorts, ties in with the home strip nicely. Don't change too much. IMO, inside the green strip, add the yellow and blue stripe... with a White strip...
