Re: 2024 Rd 3 v Warriors: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
RIghtly or wrongly I'm thinking the Saulo/Guler selections are based on size as much as it is experience. In comparison to Ata, but I'm also guessing both have a bit of size on the Warrior's bench as well? (Too lazy to search at this hour) Lines up with the approach of keeping early season football ...

Re: 2024 Rd 3 v Warriors: Teams and Previews
Au contrare, I reckon Sticky lives for the post matchers. A soap box for him to set the tone for the following week's mindset and for him to highlight the inequities of media coverage and NRL treatment. Whether that inequality is conscious or unconscious is sort of by-the-by – these are the cards we...

With points coming easy when we have the ball, they need to keep focus in defence... simple as that.

Re: 2024 Round 1 v Knights: Game Day
The big takeaway for me is seeing we are no worse off without Jacko (granted, only one game sample) + we have cap room and up side with a young up and coming playmaker This Lazy Sydney and Qld journos aside, people who have actually watched the Raiders consistently at least for the last 2 seasons w...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2022
If every NRL club could steal one player: Canberra Raiders The Raiders' biggest issue, without a doubt in the world, is the lock forward position. They need a ball-playing, big-minute, tackling machine to not only wear the jersey, but increase the depth available right across the club's engine room...

Love the positivity. But after watching the Rorters, Storm match last night, we're still a ways off making a real impact should we get there next week. (Not to mention how we've stacked up to the Panfers this year.) All the same, one must applaud us for cracking the 8 at the right time of the year.

All the best CNK. We'll always have 2019.
I can't help but think this will hurt Savage a little from the POV of being able to learn off a more experienced custodian.
All the same I can understand Charnze's "decision."

Re: Dolphins set sights on Corey Harawira-Naera
Curious for views around what we should be targeting in terms of a skills balance in the squad for a position like the back row. Say for arguments sake we agree David Fifita is the best backrower in the game so we rate him 10/10 maybe Kikau is a 9/10 through to whoever we think is a donkey 2/10 pla...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2021
Schneider hasnt pushed past Sam or Frawley because he is not at this stage better than them. If those two were able to play reserve grade right now they would be a dominant halves combination as they have been in the past. Schneider cant do that yet. He might never do so, but he does have potential...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2021
Apparently Ash Taylor is about to sign a train and trial contract with the warriors for 1k a week. If he's willing to take a significant cut like this he'd be worth a gamble for raiders. He already has a combination with fogarty and would allow us to trial moving jack. And finally f#%k Williams off...

After 17 rounds there is going to be a team in the finals positions with a 41% win rate. (And we are in 9th equal with that) What is the lowest % win / loss ratio to ever play finals? I've got very vivid memories of a Woolford interview (obviously a while ago) where we scraped into the 8 and he was...

Outclassed tonight. Last week was our gf. Seriously though, this season has been a success. When Hodgo went down followed by just about everyone else, realistically it was gonna require a Herculean effort to get back up, change the way we play and make the 8. We did that and much more. Players were...

Sorry, but If Valemei is the answer to our backline problems, then your asking the wrong questions... At best he’ll strengthen the Mounties bench... The spotlight is now on our outside backs. Hard decisions need making. And not necessarily Valemei Onboard with a bit of positivity for next year. Lot...

Guys Adam Reynolds is considered a sharp shooter. Kicking at low 70% this yr. Career avg is low 80%s. ARey has kicked 2 of the last 8. Has hit the post 3 of those 6 misses. Do Bunnies dump him too??? Even if the 3 that hit the posts had gone through it would still mean a low 62.5 percentage for Ada...

Why do you need names? The only reason you would need names is if you have squad numbers rather than position numbers Yeah i get that, but I just feel as a sport they're/we're missing a trick from a merchandise perspective. That probably came across a bit pointed. My point was that in this case it was a general observation made. There wasn't any intention, (I'm sure by Woodgers mate but definitely Woodgers) to be offensive, it was just stating what he noticed. It's a grey area of the world that **** me to tears, espec...
