This article is pretty old now, the DT keep recycling it. It is quite a flawed article. That doesn’t really seem to show a comprehensive understanding of the Raiders Group and their assets.

That sounds an awful lot like the Eels have no hope left that a counter offer might sway Sanders. I suspect they were never in a position to go anywhere near countering the offer we made them, just to stay in reserve grade. Re: Corey Harawira Naera’s career remains in limbo

I suspect the club would want the medical retirement paid by some sort of insurance, and the insurance would be in the habit of requiring clear medical evidence that he can no longer play. In the case of CHN and a seemingly random seizure, that might be hard to obtain The issue of having a defibril...

Corey Harawira Naera’s career remains in limbo

The bottom line is that CHN is going to be entitled to a full pay out of his contract if medically retired. He is well within his rights to try and get back on the field. If CHN is medically retired, the Raiders will be entitled to full salary cap relief from the time of the incident. It is in neith...

Taxpayers are actually the people who pay! So asking them how much they’d like to see spent on a stadium is pretty relevant. They’re Commonwealth and Territory voters and taxpayers as well.
