We’ve missed Galvin. No way he’s leaving the Tigers now. We had to recruit him a while back. When he left the Eels. He’s a great young player, but the Raiders have also recruited some great young players.

I can only interpret that report as the Raiders agreeing to waive the requirement that Papalii play a threshold percentage of games in 2023-24 (he just hit the threshold in 2023, so he won’t have played enough games so far to exceed the two year threshold). So it must have been mutually been activat...

I’ll have to agree to disagree, but I go to live rugby league for viewing the game itself and the live crowd interaction. I think many of those stadiums listed provide a much better viewing experience, are clearly closer to the action and provide more connectivity to the players and better interact...

I can guarantee one thing. If the NRL were to ever abandon golden point... we'd all soon be complaining about how we hate draws. Round and round in circles we'd go. I’m curious to know on average how many golden point games there are every year, so we’d know how many draws there would be without it...

I love Chicka in the '88 vid just burning half a team with 20m headstarts on him and zooming away past them. Honestly hooker is by far our worst position. We are 17th in the NRL for hooker quality, even some clubs depth hooker is better than our FG hooker. Statistically, not even 17th. Quite a number of other clubs have two hookers who are better. Granted, some clubs have starting hookers in the same ball...

So listening to what Riccio actually said, he's saying the Raiders feel they have done enough to express interest, and if Fifita is interested in a move, then they'd be prepared to talk. But it is in Fifita's hands. And virtually all the mail is Fifita wants to stay on the Gold Coast.

I can’t see how it’s any smarter as an investment decision than a decision to build a stadium. A “pavillion” will have a negative benefit cost ratio.
