Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

Trent Robinson saying that the officials didn't put the Hutchison incident on report until after the fact. And they didn't tell Robinson it was on report until the teams were running back out for the second half.

Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

I prefer rugby league over wrestling. The issue is, the athletes can't keep up. The officiating is producing waves of momentum and the balance has shifted far too much in favour of attack. It can't last like it is. People are going to switch off, because watching blow out after blow out isn't enter...

Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

So Drew Hutchison has gone to hospital with a punctured lung and a broken rib. Dylan Brown was put on report, not that anyone could tell from what happened on the field. But you'd think the sin bin would have been used for that.

Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

We had Cronk a few weeks ago complaining about players running others off the ball on kick chases. Now we have Slater complaining about players coming in with the knees in try scoring situations. What are these two smoking? Incredible that the knees have been missed. It required being put on report...

Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

Man watching teams cop floggings has worn me down. We wanted attrition but it’s not what we’ve got!! I thought I would enjoy more attacking footy but points just don’t feel ‘earned’ at the moment. Maybe that will come later, but these demolitions are hard to watch I kept telling everyone this... bu...

The way the Panthers carried on at the end of that game, it was as if they won the Grand Final. I really, really hope that at least the Storm can beat them.

Re: 2021 NRL Round 9: Teams and Game Day

That Kikau try should never have been allowed. That has been a knock on in rugby league for over 100 years. The referees and bunker officials are completely absorbed in technicalities. They never apply commonsense, and the constantly come up with the wrong calls as a result.

Re: George Williams homesick for England?

The transfer fee is the bigger issue. If it happens, it would be twice that the Raiders have paid big transfer fees to English clubs, to sign players to three year contracts... and the players have left a year early.

I’m all for the conference system. Our fixtures are a joke and this will lead to better development opportunities. If the only objection we have is we’ll need to continue travelling then it’s pretty weak, we do that anyway! The point is that a non geographical conference system, based on ladder see...

JAC gets six, the first time in 71 years. Benji’s defence not looking good there. No team has won a premiership having conceded 50 points in a regular season game.
