Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly offer Nick Cotric five-year deal

5 years at $500k is a terrible deal for Cotric. Salary cap is going to keep increasing and he will be locked in. No wonder he is looking for a shorter deal! Not sure there will be a massive increase in the salary cap over the next five years. The broadcast deal is locked in and doesn’t increase muc...

What about a group like Wyong Roos? If they’d be interested in a resurrection, it wouldn’t hurt having the Canberra and Central Coast regions as your development ground

Mounties end NSW Cup time with Canberra Raiders

It has always been an uncomfortable fit, in my view. Mt Pritchard is part of the Eels' junior district... and the players head there or the other western Sydney clubs. Probably only a handful of players have been generated from that area for the Raiders. The Raiders should enter their own team in t...

Yeah I think I'm on board with the both of you. It's why I find Tropic Thunder another one that's hard, because the joke isn't in RDJ doing black face, but its satire of the lengths method actors go to for their craft. I'm just a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude. That said, Im a white g...

Hang on - Is that Post-Covid money being offered? What about all the paycuts etc the players are in line to take?
If that's still the case, that's a huge red flag

**Edit** Did some reading, I think the 20% cut is for this year only

As i said before, i dont see any reason why a player who's repped his state and country as a winger, and has no reason to believe he can't continue to do so, would be willing to go and play for a **** club playing outside those halves, where he wont get those rep honours just to play a position tha...

Didn't Sam already have a stint overseas? How did he go then? Reports were he killed it. Do we know why he came back then? He hasn't exactly played much first grade since he returned. It’s just the norm for kids these days. Leave home, travel, come back home and save for a bit before heading out to...

Nice work Coastal. How did you go? See Team Sydney have moved into Sydney proper. I'd like to see them cut some development deal with Western Sydney Motorsport once they get their act together. Watched Lake Mungo last night on Youtube. It’s an Aussie doco style horror in the style of Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch.

It was ok. It’s been called the scariest Aussie movie made, but I didn’t find it that bad... but these kind of Paranormal Activity movies don’t scare me that much.

Finally got around to watching Joker. I liked it, but didn’t enjoy it. I don’t know... I think Joaquin was amazing, but overall I didn’t like the story. I think the script was kind of lazy. If he goes to Wigan no one can begrudge that surely. Who would want to spend years away from your child? With everything that has happened this year, I have no dramas with it. If he goes to another NRL club it will be akin to the dismissal. Well may we say God Save the Queen; because nothing will s...

And this idea that players have to make as much as they can cause they retire early is bullocks. They might retire from footy but they can get another job after!
