Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024

As far as I'm concerned he can go forge a career someplace else. At some point we need to say enough is enough. I rate him, but found his comments that he was never really considered leaving the titans to be highly disrespectful. I want the club stocked with blokes that want to be at our club. It's ...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders

Sanders fits in reggies for as long ad he takes to overtake fog. The best thing we can do is get him in and give him time to mature his game. It probably benefits him to stay for the whole year at the eels to get a wider experience before joining us next year I agree. I've got no problem with him p...

I'll be first to admit that I'm disappointed. 900k is indeed a lot of cash, be we desperately need a strike player and he offers that. Imagine having LL along side timoko... Would be a lethal right edge... And frankly, i just can't see where we make our next signing...

Surely we represent a far more compelling proposition than the dragons right now... They pretty much played a first grade team today and got absolutely smoked by a reserve grade rabbits side. If the money is similar, then surely we land him

Ive always wondered, do train and trial contracts get counted under the salary cap? I'm wondering whether weve already signed him with this just being a way to minimise his impact on our cap?

Gee whiz... signing Stewart, chase and sanders could be an absolute master-stroke and dwarf those other signings if they live up to the hype that surrounds them... sticking them with an experienced forward pack and a couple of international centres... I'm not sure about kaeo. It concerns me that he failed to cement a first grade spot in a side that missed the 8 on the back of injuries in positions that he is meant to fill for us. The others are untested and as such, could turn out to be anything. Obviously hoping they will kick on, but its anyone...

If Canberra have paid him even 100k more than minimum wage it’s an absolute disaster. And I’d bet they’ve severely, severely overpaid. Gee whiz mate. He'll be a great signing if we add a higher calibre second-rower to the team as well. Hudson, Whitehead, Hosking and Luciano/similar player fighting for two starting and one bench spot would be great for depth and competition.

So my predictions of signings are that we will pick up leilua for 24 (once a call is made for chn) and both junior Tupou and sanders for 25.

If that is how it plays out, that's not a bad haul

Risk of stating the bleating obvious but I reckon leilua will replace chn in the new year. This is where it gets interesting because let's say we go down the cap relief route, w...

True, but its clear where this is heading. The sooner this call gets made the better. As disappointed as it is to see him go out this way, I'd prefer this than to have a reoccurrance of his episode... id find it really hard to watch him play again as I'd be terrified for his welfare

CHN at his best was a good hole running 2nd rower, that relys on having decent play makers. He didn't really have a lot else in his game. I reckon L Leilua is more a more rounded player, can hit a hole but is also more physical in terms of making yards etc, better tackle breaker, has a better offlo...

I for one think leilua would be awesome. There is a reason why payton didn't want to release him despite him being on elite money (around 750k) and have 3x other quality edge forwards.. will give us the flair we've been lacking since big bro disappeared
