I think TLL deserves him our tread really, today he looked confident and fit.The last few times he has played he has seemed tentative and unsure. He was sensational today we can only hope that he stays fit and keeps improving.
We need to use some of that spare cash floating around to upgrade and extend his contract ASAP
If he can stay injury free he's one of the most devestating ball runners in the league!

TLL is back baby. Hopefully this is the start of TLL establishing himself ans one of the big name league players. He's had some bad luck injury wise and I hope he can keep building on his form.
TLL was fabulous in his 28 minutes on the park today. Having a Giant who is quick and can offload on our bench along with players like Thurling and the workhorse Miller means we have a heap of punch off the bench.
TLL was eased into FG today and I hope he gets more minutes against the Knights next week.

I have had massive wraps on TLL for years now, and todays performance really warmed my heart. Not only did big Thommy outshine the fancier Panthers forwards, he must also have taken a lot from that game on a personal level.
Having battling injuries for 3 straight seasons, TLL must have wondered if he'd ever reach his potential. He still has a long way to go, but if he can provide that sort of impact every week then its only a matter of time until big Thom is a rep player, and deservedly so.
I found it fitting that he scored our last try, and the one that bought up the 70.
Couldnt have happened to a nicer bloke and as reward for the suffereing he has endured.
Keep it up Thommy!

This may sound like a strange thing to say, given the final score, however I think he won that game for us.
His first 2-3 charges were so strong and attracted so much defence that the entire Penrith side was watching where he was on the field. He was then decoy runner for both Campo's and Thurling's first tries. Up until then I got the impression it was going to be a tit for tat scoring game as Penrith looked quite good with the ball (that Jennings is the sort of talent I always though Zillman was going to be but never quite fulfilled wearing green). Those 2 tries can almost be notched up to TLL IMO.
I have to say after the Brissy game I though Prop was not his position but he played so well there this week. I still think he should be used in place of Picker as the wide runner on the left though. David Milne should be buying him beers and mowing his lawn (or shovelling snow off it) for the next few weeks so TLL will be looking to reward him with some nice offloads.

It was fantastic to see TLL hitting his straps again. Every time he ran the ball yesterday he bent the line and looked for the offload. If he stays fit he will be invaluable come finals time. Keep it up big fella!

Is there a better sight then a green-wearing TLL terrorising the opposition? I can't think of any... If he could get a full-season under his belt I have no doubts that Tommy would be an absolute superstar!

Great post Quietman. I agree with most of your points I'm so glad to see TLL back, it has been way too long between drinks for the big fellah. I was worried with all his injuries he may have been another to disapear from view. Don't think he won the game for us, but he is just what we needed in the team.
i agree with all he was awesome and very hard to stop, great to see.all our forwards are going great guns. how long is TLL contracted for???
end of 2009, I'm pretty sure. We should extend it in my opinion
my opinion as well,if he stays relatively injury free he could deadset be anything
And thats the problem given his track record and what is known about his knee, you would be foolish to offer him much more, if he plays out next year well you can always re-sign him along the way.
